Hey peeps! I just came back from camp yesterday... and I am like so tired right now. Anyway lemme tell yoo bout the camp...Day One :
Reached school then we were separated into four different groups. My group is ' Wildcats ' together with Teng Ping, Phay Shuan, Ashiqin, Nazira, Sharifah and Diyana. Our group leader is Ting Ting. The other groups were ' Flying Hamsters, Crazy Frog and Happy Fish ' . Anyway, after getting the group cheer and group code / identity, we had to do gadgets. Then after that, we all took the school bus to Little India / Chinatown. Well, actually Crazy Frog and Happy Fish went to Little India and Wildcats and Flying Hamsters went to Chinatown. There, our group leaders will give us clues about the various places that we are supposed to find at Chinatown. Then if we get the right place, she would give us the activity for that place and if we get it right, we would get points! I had lotsa fun just running around with my group and doing all those stuff. We did quite well at all the diff stations... But there is one qns that we still dunno the ans... ' Why is Sago Street named Sago Street? ' We totally has no clue lor. So we ended up screaming our cheer to get points and we also had to do some other stuff. Altogether there were six stations, so we managed to complete five of them but there wasn't any time for the sixth one. We had to report to the last stop by 1.45 p.m. So we ended up at the MRT station waiting for the other three groups to arrive. I admit that we waited quite long la. Anyway, after everyone arrived we just went back to school in the bus. We did preparations for the campfire that night. The campfire started at around seven plus. We had a combined one with the NCC and SJAB. The campfire was really cool! They actually lighted the campfire from the fourth floor. The fireball just travelled down to the first floor and the campfire was lighted! Haiz. It was such a nice sight! So we sang songs and also watched the NCC put up an item. Then when we were doing the friendship song, I ended up doing the sort of dance with a NCC guy! But he actually didn't dare to touch me! So all was good. But then soon after, it seemed like it was gonna rain, so they stopped the whole campfire! = ( We had to go back to doing our own CCA things. Oh ya. Ms Chua made us drink up our whole 1.5 litres of water in like one min or sth. We all drank it then couldn't take it anymore so we had to ' cheat ' and pour it on ourself. Haha! It was so funnee when we got wet. Well, I only got slightly wet XD! After all that, we went to take our bath and then we had this night walk around the school. I didn't take part coz I felt abit like vomitting. But Olivia, Yan Mae and Teng Ping told me that only some parts were abit scary la. They actually made up ' things ' to scare us.... Hahas! Haiz. Then after that we just had supper and went to bed... We all stayed awake until quite late even though lights out was at twelve. You can't blame us... We couldn't sleep =P ! Ps. The Sec Ones and Twos slept in the 1/7 classroom while the Sec threes slept in the 4/3 classroom.Day Two : Woke up at like 5.30 am.... Had Morning P.T. We had to run like nine rounds around the school. Plus we were wearing track pants, so it was like so warm. After that we had to go and do axeing and trenching... Or sth like that. Well, the point is that we had to chop wood and dig holes for the outdoor cooking we were gonna have with the NCC. But in the end, it started raining... So we just had the cooking in the canteen. But the fire using the chaco was nt that big la. So as a result, the food took so long to cook. In the end, we took all the chicken wings and took them to the Hm Econs room to grill/bake. So after a while, we all went to the canteen to eat. The chicken was very nice (: After the eating and stuff, we went to the 4/3 classroom to gather... We discussed the night duty, next day's programme, etc. Then we played games and also took down all the tents. After that, we ate dinner then had our bath. That night, we had this game which all of us had to be blind-folded. The first game was one where we had to use our group animal calls to find each other and then sit down with our group members. After that, they anyhow just separated us into four groups. And we had to hold each other's shoulders so that we wun ' get lost ' . But my group was great! So happen, all of us were ' Wildcats ' except for one ' Crazy Frog ' and that was Olivia! Actually, Olivia was standing behind me but I didn't know. So she got converted to a wildcat for that game, so she was a ' Froggish- cat ' ! Haha! Anyway, the leaders and teachers led us throughout the whole first level... They kept saying things to make us believe that we are actually going to that certain place. For example.... ' We are now entering a magic tower. ' And many other things. We even had to jump coz they said that if we dun jump wide, we would fall... They would also suddenly pull us away frm our team and they want us to use our animal call to let the team know that you are missing. I gt pulled away once by dunno who. And there was also one time where the ' tunnel ' was so small and short that we had to lie on the floor and crawl! haha... So just like that we had to co-operate as a team and sort of complete the mission of the game. In the end, we were led back to the tower and there we finally took off our blind-folds. Haiz. It was a really fun game [ it is to me la! ] . After this, we went for water break and then had supper. Lights out was at 11.45 p.m.... But we also had night duty. My group's shift was at 2 a.m. in the morning! We had to sleep then wake up feeling so tired just for the night duty. So after the previous group finished their shift, Ting Ting came in and woke us up by switching on the dim light. All we did was sit at the canteen to chat. But we did patrol around the sleeping areas like twice. Finally when one hour passed and the duty was over, we crawled back into bed. But b4 that... I went to wake Olivia up for her shift (:
Day Three [ The last day! ] :
We had to fall in at seven. So we wanted to wake up at six. But we were all too tired from the night duty... Even though the diff groups had diff times for their shift. Anyway, we all woke up at 6.30 and rushed to wash up and change. We had morning P.T and then we had to clean up around the school. Most of the sec ones and some of the sec twos had to clean the Girl's Toilet ! Yup... I did clean the toilet too. It was so tiring... It made us feel even more tired then we already were. After that, we cleaned up other areas. Then we had ice- cream and fruits. Then when it was time to go home, we exchanged our Manito gifts. [ Dun ask me what Manito means, coz I also dunno. ] I gave mine to Sharifah coz I actually picked up her name when we were choosing our Manitos. And my Manito was Ms Tan :) I got a prezzie frm her. * Thnks Ms Tan! * Haha! At bout twelve plus, we were let off! Camp was over! Once I reached home, I ate my lunch, bathed and fell asleep for a very long time. I woke up again at eight plus, ate my dinner then after while, i went back to sleep again! [ Ain't I like a pig? ] haha. Nah. I was just very tired! Even though there were some parts of the camp that was abit bad, but overall it was quite enjoyable! And now... I am so tired that I am falling asleep while typing all this. I wanna go take a nap now... Till next post,`__ anNette (:
