alright alright. Update about camp! But i'm gonna cut down on some of the details to make this post abit shorter alright? =DFirst Day, 17 nov ;
Reported to school by 8 then we were split into our groups - Walnut (!) , Almond, Peanut and Gingko. Sad man ~ Olivia & Teng Ping were not in the same group as me and Yan Mae. They split us two-two .___. So Yan Mae and I were in 'Walnut' together with Lina, Cheri, Dawn, Yu Wen, Phay Shuen, Winnie and Maliah.
Anyway, did group identity, banner and bla3. Then went on to pitching our tents, tents a.k.a our beds ( for the first night only ) =D . Olivia, TP, Yan Mae and I were so happy when we finally finished pitching our 4-men tent. Sense of accomplishment ~ haha xD
Did gadgets and all of us were practically gonna die soon enough coz we hadn't eaten our lunch yet. lol. Had our late lunch then assembled at the tower to go to Pasir Ris Park for this Sandcastle building competition thingy. Was forced to walk apart from each other. Yan Mae with me and Olivia with TP coz Ms Chua was watching us closely to make sure we didn't walk in our cliques. She is always saying ' Walk in your groups! ' -.-
Yea, so we reached Pasir Ris Park then did the whole sandcastle building thing. Was quite fun the way we tried to make a proper structure and design for our castle. haha.
OKOK, our group's final product was not what we expected it to be and the top castle design was all destroyed. hurhurrrrr.
Our castle ended up looking alright for a rushed work and many failed attempts to make a proper top castle design. lol. We even named our 'masterpiece' - " The ruins of ..... " heh, i forgot the name already. =x nvm nvm, its not important =DOk, then we took one hour plus to walk back to sch from pasir ris park. [ uh huh ] . Reached school, went to take our bath, had dinner, cleared up some of the remaining gadgets lying around then it was lights out with 7 sardines squeezing in our group's 4-men tent. Luckily, all of us still had space to at least lie down properly. lol. Second Day, 18 nov ;
Woke up at around 5 a.m. Walnut, the group i was in with Yan Mae, had to prepare breakfast, tea and lunch for that day. Did all the stuff then had to rush out of school with yan mae to buy bread from central coz it was thought that Ms Wong didn't help us to buy the bread for breakfast when she actually did .__. So we ended up with many many packets of bread. lol.
Ate breakfast then went to Kallang for DRAGON BOATING! ahhhhhh~ Dragon boating is damn fun! :DD Now, all of us are chao da from staying under the sun for a long time. lol.
Had lunch then headed to the National Museum for this sort of Amazing race thing. It was quite alright looking at all the different things in the museum. There was even this part about a millionaire's funeral. eeek. Creepy. =x
Anyway, finished up at the museum then went back to school. We discovered that all our bags in our tents were wet like mad coz of the rain. So yea, all our stuff were wet. grrrrrrrrrr. Okay, never mind that.
So we went on to prepare for the combined 'campfire' with the NCC. It ended up to be a 45 mins ''candlefire" in the hall coz of the rain. Sang songs and performed an item. alright! We didn't practice enough for the item .__. After that we moved all of our wet bags to the classroom and then we had our bath. Stayed around, singing songs and also cleaned the toilet after we used it (!) and wasn't allowed to sleep yet coz Ms Chua wanted us to drink barley water for supper. Ended up sleeping at 12.30 a.m and the next day we already had to fall in damn early.
Last Day, 19 nov ;
Had morning P.T. Ate breakfast then had to report to our respective duties according to our groups.
Took down the tents, cleaned the canteen, cleared the classroom we slept in the 2nd night and bla3. Exchanged our manito gifts to our manito friends, celebrated Ms Shim's belated birthday then it was time to go homeeeeee! :DD
yup. so thats it. =D
