CAMP POST! :D
long post coming up (:First Day! ; 14 Jan
Assembled in school as usual then headed to the campsite. 3/8 got two awesomeee trainers - Raj and Melissa! WHOO~ haah :DDAnyway, the first thing we had to do was pitch our tents. It was tiring but it was also quite a fun experience. Took like one hour plus (i think?) to pitch up our tents and was freaking thirsty by the end of it. lol ok. Had lunch after that then headed to our first real activity for the camp - River Crossing. It was funn :D All of us got wet, quite muddy and dirty. sweet. lol. After the activity, Raj even told us that there was a monitor lizard in the river that we went into. eeek, i know. Is it true? I dont know. o.O lol. Couldn't do the other water activities like the mud slide since it started to rain heavily. So headed to the area where the primary school kids bunks were and did all our cheers and stuff. Was sabo-ed to go up and lead one of the cheers. uh huh lol. Anyway, it was fun just bonding with my class through the cheers and stuff ^^ Hamizzan, Naim, Nivash, etc. are damn funny lah. haah. Had dinner after that then got allocated to our different tents. Shared a tent with Olivia, Chermaine, Shermaine, Constance, Gui Fang, Rui Xin and Yi ting (: Had our night expedition after that. Blindfolded, was led through different parts of the campsite and bla3. But it was fun :DOH! And the different sounds that you can sometimes here in the campsite are a wee-bit scary. o.O.Second day! ; 15 Jan
Breakfast. Went for the SARIMBUN CHALLENGE which was also really fun :DHad to go to different checkpoints and do different tasks at each station. We even had to bash through a jungle to look out for pictures of 12 different animals. Got 12337456373 mosquito bites but it was worth it, i guess. lol. We also had to build this catapult and our catapult wasn't as strong as 3/5s. We were supposed to have a water fight against 3/5, but we didn't use our catapult. We used our hands! haha. I tried to tie one of the knots for the catapult but the mud on the rope ended up splatting on my face. lol. [ Note : Guides don't exactly know how to tie that many different knots. I admit i don't at least =x ] Oh, and Iskandar's aiming is badddd. He wanted to hit Ting with the water bomb but ended up hitting me. haha.Anyway, headed for lunch after that then went for teambuilding games. Played the game with the tyre thing and also the Harry Potter game which is like you need to re-arrange yourselves on the bench without falling off according to, eg, your height. yup. Still had time so we went somewhere and did songs and stuff then had dinner. CAMPFIREEEEE, was fun! :D3/8 was the first to perform our item. We did the following :#1. (led by Hamizzan)Watermelon, Watermelon, Banana, Banana, Raisins, Raisins, Raisins (repeated), Rambutan, Rambutan! ( all done in tai-chi style ) lol. #2. (danced to the chanting)Sanjaya! Sanjaya! Let's set this place on fire! (repeated several times) #3. (done the sexy style; led by Hamizzan, Naim and Nivash)Boom Chika Boom!Boom Chika Boom!Boom Chika WakaChika WakaChika Boom!Oh yea!Right on!#4. (shouting to Hamizzan, Nivash and Naim)Tell me where you get your body from!Tell me where you get your body from!I got it from my Raj! (x2) YESSS! Campfire was once again, FUN with all the cheers, songs, etc ;DAfter campfire, headed to have our debrief and then took a class photo with Raj and Melissa (: Oh, and Raj sang this really sweet song dedicated to our class. awww :DBath then sleep.Last Day! ; 16 Jan
Had area cleaning and 3/8 ended up cleaning the boys toilet. Played around with water and people (not me :D) got really wet and stuff and even Melissa wasn't spared. haha. A pity Raj couldn't stay with us for the last day. He had to go and get ready for the Ang Mo Kio Sec camp. BOO~ Anyway, headed to this area to talk random stuffs since we still had time after area cleaning. Found out random facts about 3/8 peeps. lol. Had our camp debrief, took our class picture and then it was homeee :DOH! But i do miss camp ): Camp Sarimbun was awesomely funnn! ^^ Sleeping in tents was actually quite a great experience.I honestly didn't mind getting dirty.Bonding with 3/8 was awesome.& everything was just WHOO~ fun ;DWill probably post up camp pics once i get them from peeps :Dokay.
