TODAY WAS PURE FUN WITH ALIVE GAROUPA (my lifegroup in church) ! :D

Had church as per usual. Today's lesson was good. We learnt about friendships and relationships.

True friendship.
-involves relationship, trust and accountability.
-doing something for someone with expecting something in return
-sharing your thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged

The key to true friendship is faithfulness and loyalty.

-Real friends encourage, forgive and rebuild one another.
-Genuine friendships support each other and depend on one another during times of need.
-At times, you must be willing to sacrifice your needs for your friend's well-being.

Relationships.
-The bible does not state that there is a specific one for you to marry.
-If we give ourselves to God, God promised to direct us.
-God gave men the freewill to choose, but the ONE comes with God's time(:

-Self validity (You need to know your identity; who you are in Christ.)
-You need to know your validity in Christ before stepping into a relationship.
-Validity comes from God alone and not from the person you like.
-God takes risks and the biggest risk he took was giving us the freedom of choice.
-If you don't want your heart to be broken, don't give your love to anyone until you are really sure.

-Guard your heart (proverbs 4:23)
-Ensure that you know what you really want and whether or not that other person is really the right one for you.

Okay. I just had to list some of the things that we learnt in lifegroup today. It was quite inspiring. LOL. Anyway, back to earth.

After church today, most of my LG, Alive Garoupa! went for lunch together to discuss crossroads.
Then Kegan, Randall, Lianne, Johanna, Cassandra and I headed to lisa's house to play.

Started off by playing this game called "press conference" if I'm not wrong. It's this game where one person sort of has to 'go into hiding' first. Then the rest of us discuss what person/character/thing we want that person to be. Then once its decided, the person comes back down and we start asking the person questions based on that chosen character. And the person has to guess 'who she/he is' based on the questions we ask. It was super funny asking all the different questions and stuff. All of us are like asking qns and laughing like mad at the same time when the person may be a little blur blur on who we were actually talking about. HAHA.

Yeah. Then we played another game called "Munchkin Fu". It was honestly VERY confusing at the start and all of us were literally playing our cards face up because only Kegan and Randall out of the 7 of us knew how to play the game properly. LOL. Skip the funny details. It was just overall super fun :D and we ended up playing that game for 2 hours. haha.

Didn't do anything much after that game. We just sat around chatting and laughing and listening to Kegan try to tell us some scary stories. lol. Left around 7 plus then randall sent all of us home.
